Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using PhoneTree ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

PhoneTree is a team-based communication tool that allows groups to manage shared contacts and send messages via SMS, email, and WhatsApp. The App is designed for private, invite-only teams.

Account Registration

To use PhoneTree, you must create an account with a valid email address and join a team using an invite code provided by a team administrator, or create your own team. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use PhoneTree only for lawful purposes. You shall not:

• Use the App to send spam, unsolicited messages, or harassing content
• Share contact information obtained through the App outside of your team without consent
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other teams or user accounts
• Use the App in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content

User Content

You retain ownership of the content you create within the App (contacts, messages, notes). By adding contacts to a team, you grant other team members access to that contact information. Contacts contributed to a team remain accessible to the team even if you leave.

Team Administration

Team owners and administrators have the ability to manage members, including promoting, demoting, and removing users. The team owner cannot be removed by administrators. Administrators can control access to shared features such as group email.

Messaging

PhoneTree facilitates sending messages through your device's native SMS, email, and WhatsApp capabilities. Standard messaging rates from your carrier may apply. The App does not guarantee message delivery, as this depends on your device and carrier.

Privacy

Your use of PhoneTree is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

Disclaimer of Warranties

PhoneTree is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PhoneTree and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to PhoneTree at any time, with or without cause. You may delete your account at any time through the App's settings.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
